The Road
Just as countless travelers before us were drawn west in search of possibility, adventure, and a different way of living, MAVVEN Mercantile began with its own journey.
Founder and maker Lisa Waters made her way to the West Coast more than 25 years ago, building a career, raising a family, and eventually rediscovering the joy of creating with her own hands. In 2024, that journey became MAVVEN Mercantile a boutique born from a love of craftsmanship, meaningful objects, and the stories they carry.
When the Pacific Palisades fire claimed Lisa's home and original shop just twelve months later, the road unexpectedly changed. What followed was not an ending, but the beginning of a new chapter.
The Destination
Reopened in Palm Springs in 2026, MAVVEN Mercantile is a thoughtfully curated boutique inspired by the spirit of the desert, vintage markets, and the timeless appeal of discovery.
Inside you'll find handmade jewelry, one-of-a-kind vintage treasures, artisan goods, clothing, books, elevated everyday essentials, and seasonal finds each chosen with intention. Every object has been selected for its craftsmanship, character, and ability to tell a story.
